Airasia is now flying to Surat Thani, a city that’s 2.5 hours away (by bus) from Khao San National Park! They have frequent buses, for about 120baht per way.

And they move on to Marina Bay Sand’s Ku De Ta for a drink and to take in the night view. 
But I’d rather go to Level 33 (at Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 1). They have a beer brewery and I think their view is better than the one at Ku De Ta.

Watching The Layover (in Singapore) right now and they are introducing Chwee Kueh from Tiong Bahru Food Market. Mr Seetoh (the host) said it “somehow tastes like chocolate”. I don’t get that though. To me, it’s mushy rice cakes with preserved radish.
My favorite Chwee Kueh stall is from Bedok Interchange’s hawker center. Had it since young, and it’s still the best.
